Hey budding dev, if you are feeling stuck and can make sense of all the noise, come in here for a bit of comfort and high level guidance

1. there is a lot of stuff to set up for the development environment. it varies per distro user. we’ll give them a little roadmap and also tell them about the assumptions we’re making about their level - when the content gets improved, that could well change!!

2. They also need to know of the steps of the lesson. There is a looooooot in here, not only tooling, but also concepts. IT would be very discouraging to thing,,,”hey I’m only half a webpage in, and it has taken my X amount of time” or “I’m totally stuck at one point…..am I doing something wrong, cos it’s taking ages to move further through the lesson”. It’s extremely subjective, but it would be nice to give an indication of time. Now that doesn’t have to be hours and minutes, it can be a really rough percentage guide of the total 100% based on the assumptions that we tell the learner we are making about them.

Just a development idea: if we could add a little icon/emoji where novice users should/could/might need to refer to a side drawer for help, but the side drawer might be needed in different places. Like a ‘if you are stuck, go back to the side drawer on…..”

• [ ] download a new wallet to a new browser profile
