The Problem
Summary
Quick summary of the problem, project, and why we are doing this.
A job board to connect web3 talent with web3 opportunities. Everyone has the freedom to do all sorts of things in the job board, everyone can create job/gig postings, everyone can apply to job/gig postings, everyone can be a part of an organization, and whatnot.
<aside>
💡 Potentially gets rid of unnecessary overhead (i.e. changing profiles, signing up with other wallets when they decide they want to hire people, or when they decide they wanna look for gigs, etc.)
</aside>
This job board should allow people to find meaningful work, new opportunities, and helping organizations find the talent they need.
Objectives
What are we trying to get out of this? How do the users benefit?
Primary Goals
- Provide web3 job seekers a platform to display their participation on Web3 and connect them with Companies, Projects, and DAOs looking to hire.
- Provide Companies, Projects, and DAOs looking to hire a database of Web3 talent, all showcasing their various skill sets, past contributions, and personal projects. Give them a dedicated platform where they can easily find, screen, and hire web3 talent for their projects or organization.
Secondary Goals
- Increase the number of DeveloperDAO members involved in Web3 companies, shipping successful products, and grow the network of DeveloperDAO.
- Set the stage for tie-ins to other DAO projects like Proof of Competence
Key Results
What are the measurable, quantifiable results that we can use to measure the success of this project? (Think: adoption, engagement, retention, business goals)
- Adoption — Number of job-seekers signed up
- Adoption — Number of recruiters signed up
- Engagement — Number of job applications
- To help contextualize, also look at the frequency distribution of job-seekers’ applications. Ideally we’d look for distribution out the curve to more applications per seeker, maybe even a sweet-spot of not too few (just trying, disengaged), not too many (pray-n-spray, spam)
- Engagement — Number of job postings
