piablo Here’s the tx hash for the last payout from the Academy multi-sig

The rationale behind that 👆🏾 particular payment (Initiated on Nov-04-2022 01:48:47 PM +UTC) was to reward members for their contribution to the ‘couple of months’ period’ pertaining only to the launch of Academy’s MVP on September 20 2022, and therefore that the decision was loosely to not reward anyone before that period to keep it simple.

I did hours and hours of digging to find out which Academy members/contributers were where and when, trawling through Discord public and private channels, and Github, and came up with the quite broad (and also subjective results) in the TImeline of contributors’ $CODE rewards section below. Nuances: some rewards that were paid out on 4 Nov were for contributions after MVP launch (e.g. @Shikhar’s Github commits), while there were other contributions between 20 Sept and 4 Nov that didn’t get rewarded (e.g. a lot of @wolovim ‘s contributions) * see below.

Season 2 began on 1 February 2023

Proposal:

The proposal would be to reward contributors primarily between 04.11.2022 and 01.02.2023, but taking the * nuances mentioned into account. More detail one those can be found in the TImeline of contributors’ $CODE rewards.

If this is the correct approach, then creating a fair % split between contributors would be the challenge.
