đź‘‹ This page provides an overview of how we manage our GitHub Organisation to balance security with ease of contribution.

Projects are hosted on the Developer DAO Github once they’ve received a budget from the DAO.
If you’re new to the DAO and looking to contribute as an engineer/developer the best place to start is by checking out our #🏗-dev-opportunities
channel and joining the dev guild weekly sync on Tuesday @ 3 pm UTC. You can find the event in the #đź“…-d-d-events
channel.
Access is limited to Project core team members. The reason for this is to maintain a secure organisation by ensuring only “officially” supported projects are listed on the DAOs profile.
Project core team members will have access following the typical Open Source role model: Read, Triage, Write, Maintain & Admin.
Project Champions will by default be assigned the Admin role and have the power to choose how they manage other roles for core contributors to the project.
All other contributions should be made by forking repos and making PRs and only added as outside contributors.
