Developer DAO’s Mission, Values, and Goals
Any guild’s OKRs should be aligned with the DAO’s mission, values, and goals. Our mission is to accelerate the education and impact of a new wave of web3 builders. Our values are transparency, diversity & inclusion, responsibility, and kindness & empathy. Our goals are:
- to onboard, educate, and support a new wave of web3 developers.
- to foster & build web3 tools & public goods.
Objective 1: Oversee the successful launch of the $CODE governance token.
Alignment to Mission, Values, and Goals
A successful launch of the governance token allows the DAO members to continue to govern themselves in alignment with the mission, values, and goals. Additionally, the token launch will provide scholarship allocations & budget allocations for DAO initiatives.
Key Result: Achieve >60% claim rate of $CODE governance tokens.
Key Result: Setup our governance mechanisms on a governing platform (e.g., commonwealth)
Key Result: Have all proposals follow the new DDIP process.
Objective 2: Further decentralize main governance mechanisms within the DAO.
Alignment to Mission, Values, and Goals
To achieve our values of transparency & diversity, we must further decentralize governance mechanisms out of the hands of the founding team. We also believe that a better decentralized DAO will be able to better achieve the mission & goals we are after.
Key Result: Decentralize the treasury multisig & the budget stewards with a nomination & rotation process.
Key Result: Provide guidelines for guild & project multisig management.
Key Result: Develop a roadmap for progressive decentralization.
